Extremely thorough. As a single female, I was very comfortable with Jim in my home. He did an amazing job using at least 6 different tools to clean my highly trafficked (read lots of dirt from shoes) carpets. I was a little nervous at first because the quote was higher than other carpet cleaners, but you definitely get what you pay for. This was ***high quality, no-corners-cut*** work. James and Big Dog Restoration was recommended by another general contractor because of his knowledge and expertise in mold remediation and construction. When we had water damage he was able to answer my many questions and took the time to explain the situation at hand. You’d think it’d be a painful experience to try to find someone who knows what they are doing and can handle the job at hand but “Jim” took his time went through the whole house and found several corrections to help prevent a future disaster. Rates are reasonable and turnaround time was a cut above. Big Dog Restoration went above and beyond and I can’t thank them enough. Unfortunately, we had to hire a restoration company – Fortunately, we found Jim at Big Dog Cleaning and Restoration. What I thought was just a small leak turned in to a mold issue that had been hiding for some time. Jim explained the “process” and was extremely helpful with the insurance company paperwork. He was so good in handling the insurance portion that we had no issues with our claim whatsoever. He went above and beyond and helped with additional plumbing issues on a Sunday afternoon when no one else would answer the phone.

Jim Milne and his crew came to our rescue by professionally and efficiently cleaning the 2000 or so square feet of tile in our home prior to listing it for sale. He didn’t need any harsh chemicals or abrasive polishing methods to create a durable and attractive surface. It reminds us of how it looked when it was brand new. His rates are quite fair given the large amount of labor involved. I recommend his firm and look forward to having him help me maintain the stone floors in my new home.

Excellent results by James. Carpet was really dirty (large dog tracking in/out) and some heavy stains. Took extra cleaning effort, but stains were removed and carpet looked very nice at the end. In fact carpet looked so good, we then had him clean 3 large recliner chairs. The results made them look nearly new. Wife was happy.
