Training and Experience Matter

We teach our technicians that to properly clean carpet and upholstery; the fiber or fabric must first be correctly identified. Carpet fibers such as nylon, polyester, olefin, and wool all respond very differently to individual soils and cleaning solutions. With upholstery and fine fabrics differentiating between natural, synthetics, and blended fibers is critical. It’s surprising how many technicians can not accurately perform this task. Big Dog Cleaning and Restoration technicians are trained by a Master Certified Cleaner in fiber, and fabric identification; cleaning solution compatibility, and the correct cleaning processes. Our technicians also have an extensive selection of cleaning equipment and systems available, and are well trained with them. For over 30 years our goal has always been to provide the best cleaning service available, and we will continue to properly train and equip our technicians to meet that goal.
